World’s most unsuitable vehicle for snow – on snow UPDATE: Location found

We found it! The world’s most unsuitable vehicle for driving on snow, doing just that. This, ladies and gents, is an early Lamborghini LP400 Countach (perhaps even a prototype? - connoisseurs come in!) in what looks like an unforeseen Italian blizzard. Was it being test driven, leaving Sant’Agatha without checking the weather? Lamborghini’s birthplace is situated in the Po-Valley right in between the Dolomites and the Apennines. Things can get nasty there, weather-wise. Somebody who recognizes the place?

Press quotes from the Countach include “A driving experience that has to be learned”, “It takes an epoch to get used to the wide body”, “visibility is appalling”, “Simply getting behind the wheel and flooring it is not to be recommended.” These weren’t in fact too unkind, as the Countach remains one of the trickier cars to drive, even in the dry. Remember this was all way before Electronic Stability Programs, Anti Locking Brakes and other traction control systems. Basically there's a space frame chassis clad with alloy, a rev-happy four-litre four-cam V12 right behind you and a pair of ultra-fat Pirellis for touch-down. Brave man to pilot that over the snowy mountain tops. Perhaps that’s where the idea for a four wheel drive came from?

UPDATE: One dear reader knew the exact location (see comments). On Google maps here.
