Which car do you choose from the year 1967?

On Thursday August 23, 2018 Worldwide Auctioneers will have their Pacific Grove Auction. This event is held on the Monterey Peninsula during the famous classic car week. We took a dive into the catalogue and found a wide variety of cars. From a 1993 Mercedes Benz 300 TE Station Wagon to a Ferrari 250GT Ellena. And from a 1958 Buick Limited Convertible to a Volkswagen Beetle. A lot to see.

We noticed there are quite some cars for sale, built in the year 1967 so we asked ourselves: the year is 1967 and you have some money to spend, you are a bit of a playboy so you want something nice, good looking and most important ... fast! Which one would you choose?

The options:

The first car we found in that year is lot nr. 3, The Chevrolet Corvette 427 Coupe. This black car with factory side pipes, four-speed manual, red stinger hood is a really bad ass.

Estimate: $ 110.000 - $ 130.000

Another American muscle car is the 1967 Shelby GT500 Fastback (lot nr. 8). With its manual transmission and big block, it will give you goose bumps (or at least to your co-pilot).

Estimate: $ 150.000 - $ 175.000

When you are more into the German cars, this 1967 Porsche 1912 is the car for you.  With its bright green, it will give you the desired attention on the road and for half the money of a 911.

Estimate: $65.000 - $ 85.000

Another stunning car is lot nr 24. The 1967 Maserati Ghibli 4.7 Coupe, in our opinion fairly priced if you compare it with its other Italian competitors. And yes, we love the looks of this Ghia Design!

Estimate: $190.000 - $230.000

One of those competitors is the 1967 Lamborghini 400 GT2+2 (lot nr 35). The car appears to be in an exceptionally original condition. They call it a "time capsule". Truly a must have for the collector.

Estimate: $475.000 - $550.000

Our preference goes to the fantastic coloured Porsche 912. We absolutely fell in love with the colour. Although the smallest engine from all above, very good to drive. The car offered here is very original and we believe it is not only fun to drive but also a good investment for the future. We might make an offer ourselves on the car.

But which one is your favourite: www.worldwide-auctioneers.com?
