Concours d'Élégance celebrates 25th anniversary 

Beesd, 22 April 2024: On the weekend of September 13-15th, the Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt Estate will be the meeting place for lovers of the finest vintage cars, exclusive supercars and the latest models, during Wheels Mariënwaerdt. 

Wheels Mariënwaerdt has found the ideal location for the anniversary edition of the internationally renowned Concours d'Élégance: the 1,000-hectare Heerlijkheid Mariënwaerdt estate on the A2 Utrecht - ‘s-Hertogenbosch motorway. The venue offers plenty of space, excellent accessibility and is extremely atmospheric.

Past and present come together
The theme of Wheels Mariënwaerdt is "Where history meets the future." Together with Turien & Co. Assuradeuren, a varied range of rare classics, historically important racing cars, blood-curdling supercars and imaginative show models will be selected for the Concours d'Élégance, which will be judged by a jury of renowned experts from the automotive world - with the title ‘Best of Show’ as the ultimate crowning achievement. 

Anniversaries
Special attention is paid to brands and models celebrating a jubilee. This year marks 70 years of the Mercedes-Benz 300SL 'Gullwing’, 60 years of the Ford Mustang and the 50th anniversary of the Volkswagen Golf, as well as the 125th anniversary of Packard and 110 years of Maserati. There will also be a class for designs by Michelotti, and special attention will be paid to pre-1904 vehicles that take part in the London to Brighton Run.

Automotive sector in full swing
Around the concours, as usual, there are plenty of activities. The Pre-War Sprint is a regular feature of Wheels, but the Supercar Paddock, the Offroad Experience and the Car Catwalk—with the best stories about intriguing cars—are also not to be missed, while the Autosport Paddock features numerous successful racing and rally cars from the past and present. As in previous editions, a large number of car manufacturers will show their latest models.

For young and old
At the BOVAG Automotive Innovation Paddock, the youngest visitors will be introduced to the latest developments in the intriguing automotive sector. For example, the University of Twente and TU Delft will show their innovative developments in solar energy and hydrogen. BNR will report live from the estate with its Autoshow, covering the latest developments, models and, of course, interesting people from the industry. 

Parking
Collectors of automobilia will get their money's worth at the Summer Fair Automotive Art & Book Market. Classic and youngtimer specialists will offer their finest cars for sale. Visitors who come to Wheels Mariënwaerdt with a classic or special car themselves can park their cherished vehicle at the Classic Car Parking and Volkswagen is calling a special VW Golf parking area, open to all generations of VW's success number. For visitors with other makes and models, there is ample parking within walking distance of the main entrance to Wheels.
