Barnfinds, yardfinds, potential projects; you hear those expressions anytime, everywhere. But very few experienced this for themselves. Or did you?
Well, they obviously don't just show up everywhere. It took the cars a lifetime to become as they are now. And this is only possible when just a few people know of the existence of this particular car.
So, when someone leaves their Rambler Classic (is it an early sixties Rambler?) next to a John F. Kennedy airport this may not be the best way to 'create' a decent 'find' many years later. Millions and millions holiday flyers will see this car getting more and more 'patina'. Eventually the car will be dissolved before it reaches a decent scrapyard.
But why did the owner leave the car there? Who knows, maby just because he didn't want to pay the parking ticket fee...
