About tough to Crack Car Puzzle #133: 1947 CEMSA Caproni F11

It was jury member Alan Spences who came up with the idea for last week's puzzle. He sent us this description:
It's a 1947 CEMSA Caproni F11, which was a direct predecessor in mechanical layout to the Lancia Flavia.  It was designed by engineer Antonio Fessia and stylist Giovanni Bertone, and produced in Saronno (Lombardy, Italy) by CEMSA (Caproni Elettromeccanica SA) in 1947.  In the same year it was exhibited at the Paris Motor Show as the Cemsa Caproni F11.  The main innovative features were the boxer engine with 4 opposing pistons, the gear lever mounted on the steering column, and independent suspension.
We received several good to very good answers. All four competitors - Paolo Armando, Poisson, Timo Laitinen, Francesco, Robert Ely and jury member Robert Marenzi - were right about the marque.  The answer of Francesco was extremely informative but unfortunately way too long and several days too late. Sorry!
Our congratulations and T-shirt this week go to Finland, to Timo Laitinen who won one time before.  Be sure to send your shirt size and mail address in order to receive the PostWarClassic T-shirt.  Next week a new chance, or in case you are better with pre-war stuff check today's pre-1940 quiz.  Special thanks to jury member Alan Spencer who came up with this puzzle car.
