As the long wheelbase and narrow wire wheels will give away to your trained eye – this actually is a pre war car. But that’s the rolling chassis. The thing became better known just after the War when a modern aluminium body was fitted to it by a company that was soon to produce small numbers of cars. Slightly eccentric cars for slightly eccentric people, perhaps. British of course – you’d guessed it. Well, this is their very first product in its full splendour. We have only erased the original badge on its big radiator grille to make things not too easy.
