The Rallying Twin Cam Mystery

Recently MG-postcard collector Karel Vermeer bought two old pictures of an MGA Twin Cam. Both pictures were taken in the 1960’s when it had the French registration number 5234CC69. The faded colour picture shows the car with a Ferrari sticker on the bonnet and a sticker of the Monza circuit on the side. On the back of the black & white picture is written: “18th Lyon-Charbonnieres 1964.”
From Piers Hubbard (the MGA-register historian) we learned the MG works in Abingdon entered this rally only in 1957 with an MGA. Nancy Mitchell and Doreen Reece were first in the Ladies class. So in 1964 this must have been a privately entered MGA 1500 Twin Cam. It would be nice if we could learn more about the history of this car. Perhaps someone knows the results of the 1964 Lyon-Charbonnieres Rally?
