The Convertible Imp Mystery (upd: not a Crayford conversion)

Karel Vermeer from Holland spotted this early seventies Sunbeam Imp Cabriolet at the seaside. The Sunbeam Imp's were badge-engineered versions of the Hillman Imp and we have seen them in many versions: as saloons, as Singer Chamois, even as the fastback Imp Californian. But never as a convertible. Is thisa one-off or have more been made? And if so, does anybody know who made them?
