Stoke on Trent Fastback Coupe: fantasy or mystery?

Recently acquired by one of our frequent visitors Jon. A 6 inch (15 cm) coupe or fastback if you like. It was made by scale model manufacturer; ' TTI ' from Stoke on Trent, UK. Yet despite the UK heritage, we think the depicted car is of British design. The car's profile does remind of a 1947 Buick Roadmaster Coupe . However the nose is more like 1950 Bugatti T101 or 1949 Talbot Lago T 26 GS Coupe. Yet of course it may be total fantasy reflecting supercar design of that era. Who can shed some light in this?
