Snow white and the Pussycats

Have you seen some snow yet? When you are over in Germany you will surely have, as it started as early as October this year in that part of the world. Question is what to drive when the (local) roads are blanketed in snow. According to this ad it had to be a Volkswagen. And what a great ad it was, good for a Golden Palm in Cannes back in 1964 and for spoofs until this day. But if a Beetle is such a good choice for dashing through the snow, a Karmann-Ghia should do the job, too. With the same ease, but perhaps in a little bit more style. So, ladies, if you feel the need to drive up a snowy mountain to pick this year’s first crocusses, take out the Karmann-Ghia, take off your Bavarian jacket and go. Volkswagen themselves said it: Pussycats go where tigers fear to tread.
