Serious collector stuff

Perhaps you've already done your Christmas shopping. If not, we suggest you have a look at L'Art et L'Automobile who have their yearly on-line auction of some serious collector stuff. There are several things that we wouldn't mind to find in our stocking. How about this rare record album about a personal favorite of ours, Marquis Alfonso de Portago, who was a very good racing driver, but tragically killed during the Mille Miglia. This is a memorial tribute album produced in 1957 with comments on his life from other drivers like Louis Chinetti, Juan Manuel Fangio, Peter Collins and Count Wolfgang von Trips, followed by an interview with Alfonso de Portago himself. But whatever your choice, the auction is still on until December 12th.
