Another year almost gone by, so it's time for our usual end-of-year tradition: the PostWarClassic X-mas Puzzle. This year we are going to do it differently. No automobiles, but something else! What we are going to show you is another product of the company that also produced automobiles. It could be the product that started the company, or a product that was sold as a by-line, or maybe there's another connection. You'll see! Anyway, it's your job to give us the name of that company and what we want to hear from you is the marque of the automobile.

This first day we will not make it too difficult. Seen here is a turbojet fighter plane that first flew in 1948, although the company that made them had already started aeroplane production in 1931. Around the time the fighter plane on this picture appeared, the company was also busy making prototypes of an automobile, but the production didn't start until 1955. The logo that was used on some models of the car reflected its aeroplane heritage. Oh, and it was made by trolls! Now the only thing you have to do is to recognize the make, write it down, but please DO NOT send us your answer before the last puzzle has been published. Of course you can contact us on all other topics, because our office is always staffed! From the participants with all answers correct, six names will be drawn at random.
