Not your ordinary farm car

Pick-ups, or Utes as they are called in Australia, have been around since the dawn of the motorcar. They were mostly hacked-off versions of a bog-standard saloon and by nature nothing more than fully loaded mules being abused by careless farmhands. However, all that changed when Ford brought out the Ranchero in 1957. It had lots of luxury as it was based on the station wagon and could be ordered with all the accessories that came with the Fairlane 500. This restored example looks as nice as they come and has the hard to find accessories like the "hockey-stick" rocker panel moldings, plus the chrome plated "V" front grille protector. This is one pick-up that is truly a head-turner. Find it at the Keels & Wheels Concours d’Elegance where it will be auctioned by WWG during the Houston Classic Auction Weekend on April 30!
