Rough midnight cruiser

Last week we spotted this Cadillac DeVille Coupe just around the corner. It was a nice evening, the moon was bright and the atmosphere relaxed. Perfect circumstances to roll down your windows and cruise with an arm hanging out downtown or along a neon lit boulevard in American Graffiti style.
The Caddy was nicely patined, no real rust so it may be possible that this is no rolling restoration someone created this comfortable rat-rod for the fun of it. It may be sort of trendy to drive a car with bad paint, superficial rust etc. And no matter what you think of that there is a huge advantage: you can leave your car wherever you want without worrying about the occasional scratch or dent.
