Lots of spit and polish!

Last weekend we visited the Concours d’Elegance at the Palace Het Loo in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. The weather was fine, a large crowd, the cars were beautiful and yet… and yet we thought something was missing. We can’t really pinpoint it, but perhaps it was all a bit too static, no surprises. One of the cars on display that really caught our eye was this 1949 AC 2 litre Saloon with its gleaming 2000cc 6 cylinder engine. Overall winner was the 1953 Fiat 8v Ghia Supersonic with an even more shiny V8 engine. (photos Rutger Booy)
