Live from Beaulieu 2024: International Autojumble in full swing

It’s lunchtime as we write at the Beaulieu Autojumble, and the sun is high in the sky, a cool breeze is blowing and scores of autojumblers are milling to and for, some pleased with their new purchases, others still hunting for that elusive something.

The PreWarCar.com & PostWarClassic.com stand (G338 & G339) is as busy as ever, with our two star exhibits, a 1906 Brasier with Curtiss OX-5 engine and an exacting replica of the first production Harley-Davidson from 1908, built by a young enthusiast, attracting plenty of admirers.

We’ve been for a walk ourselves and have found plenty of tempting wares. We’d love to take home the oily-rag 1908 Cadillac Model K in the car mart, which looks ever so pretty wearing a 1930s restoration. On the non-motoring front, a 1905 Raleigh tricycle—apparently one of three survivors—has caught our eye, and there are no end of parts, such as an MG J2 engine block for £1100.

There’s still plenty more for us to see, and if you’re at Beaulieu and haven’t found us yet, be sure to pay us a visit. We might see you soon…
