The amazing find of an Alfa-Romeo 6C2500Sport Freccia d'Oro of 1950

In 2009 I discovered this amazing all original two owners Alfa-Romeo 6C2500 Sport Freccia d'Oro of 1950. It is one of the last twelve cars built. She came to Switzerland by road on Septembre 5th 1950 via Lugano (allready fitted with an Aster radio, Clayton Heater and tool roll ). Mr Haenni, watchmaker of Tavannes bought her in March 1951. He carefully protected the seats and panels with elegant hoses which are still intact. Garage du Jura in Bienne was looking for the car. In 1968 she was sold with an incredibly low mileage of 44042 Km to Mr Broggi of Delemont who... never drove her for the next 41 years.

When I discovered her in 2009 she was under a plastic cover and wheels had been removed. But the tool roll, the jack, the owner manual, Swiss customs document, Swiss title, oil change tag, original key holder, ect... all were there.
Over a period of two years I had the complete mecanics restored, from the radiator, via the engine to the fuel tank.
Since then the car was shown in a private collection and almost not driven (as with the previous owner).
The whole paint, inside and outside was already cracking in 2008. Inside is still the original light metallic dark amaranth. Outside the original color had been oversprayed before 1968 with a cellulose paint. Most probably over the years the primer became loose and the paint layers dry and shrinking, which resulted in this general paint cracking.
In my 30 years car hunting I have very very seldomly seen such an original and well preserved car.
If you have a heart for original car and are ready to preserve her for the future generation, do not hesitate to contact me.

This has to be the find of the year, I have no experience of Italian cars but this surprised me. Right Hand Drive as well? Would love to know more about its history.
