You may know by now that we tend to have a soft spot for disorder here. And so when a jumbled industrial estate dooms up along the road; a disorganized petrol filling station or a derelict garage, we usually stop to have a look around the back. This can be very annoying for your passengers. Especially for the ones who don’t value chaos like we do. But thanks to this perhaps slightly worrying affection we have come across some intriguing finds, too. From the usual bread-and-butter car, lovingly sunken to its ankles in the mud, to exotics such as a right hand driven Facel Vega Excellence and an Allard P1. In equally sorry states, oh yes. This Jaguar fits in somewhere in between them. The Mk10 (or is it a 420G?) was probably the biggest Jag ever and is an absolute joy to drive. But we may even prefer it in this overgrown state. Wouldn’t it be a fantastic hideaway in your garden? The tea trays were still in place.
