Hoorah! It must be Skirt day!

Skirt Day comes unannounced, but those who follow the developments around the weather avidly, may think today is the day. Skirt Day usually comes in Spring when large numbers of women all of a sudden - as if it was by secret appointment - wear a skirt with bare legs.

The six Friday Ladies seen here seem to like it. For a change we know who they are also as they formed the so called Beat Girls dance troup of 1966. From left to right: Dee-Dee Wilde, Lorelly Harris, Diana South, Babs Lord, Penny Fergusson and Felivity Colby. The picture was taken at Heathrow airport prior to leaving for Venice where they were to perform at a party planned by Universal Pictures after the premiere of the movie Fahrenheit 451.
