In loving memory of Carmen and her '58 Edsel

During a recent visit to Buenos Aires Hugo Moddeman also went to see the famous 'city of graves' in Buenos Aires, named La Recoleta, to foreigners primarily known for the grave of Eva Peron.  While strolling down the wonderful marble lanes Hugo found this very special monument to the honour and memory of Antonia Carmen Casellas Gual. In the engraved text of the monument we not only read that she was a wonderful woman. But also that she was the proud owner of a 1958 Ford Edsel. She most probably was a true afficionado. But probably better said afficionada.
