Five days to go: Beaulieu prepares for another packed Autojumble

You've done it at last: you've cleared out the garage, thrown away all the junk you'd accumulated without realising it and sent the spiders scurrying away to find a new home. Well done. It's a good thing you've made some space, because the Beaulieu Autojumble is with us once more and when you get home after a weekend's shopping, you're going to fill it all up again... Whether it's a supercharger for your special project or a pedal car for a young enthusiast you know, you'll find plenty at Beaulieu to help you lighten your pockets a little. And if you've promised to be frugal this year, and you're absolutely certain that you're not going to give into temptation, well... it's still a wonderful opportunity to visit a charming corner of England, socialise and discover some fascinating motoring artefacts.

Looking back on last year, we remember some of the delights which were for sale, including a beautifully restored 1946 MG TC and a pair of extremely rare, unrestored Lambretta Willam vans. A real highlight, however, was seeing a brand-new Brütsch Mopetta built as an exacting copy of the original by a devoted enthusiast.

Of course, among all the stalls selling spares and automobilia, you will find no better hospitality than at the PreWarCar/PostWarClassic.com marquee, so come over for a chat when you have the chance. We will be in our usual prominent position by the crossroads, with a special car on display, plus a few bits and pieces of our own for sale.

We're looking forward to another wonderful Autojumble, and we hope you are, too. The date is this weekend, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th. Opening times are 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Saturday and 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, including entry prices, visit the Beaulieu Autojumble webpage.

See you there!
