Enter the world of Gran Turismo, or should we say Grand Tourism as this is French territory: Facel Vega! To be more specific, it is the  HK 500, in other words the FV for people with a large appetite as this HK 500 has the largest engine of all Facel Vegas. Not the 'nimble'  5.9 litre but the nice & juicy 6,3 litre V8. So no worries about lack of torque. You will have the peace of mind to relax and enjoy the luscious interior in late fifties 'joy de vivre'. And what's more, not an over glitzy concours stiff 'better than new' interior. But pleasantly aged, what a joy, what an abundance. The car that will be presented at Techno Classica later this week has a few weak spots in the body but let's pray that no full 'rotisserie' restoration will be required. The car coming from its third owner is in a lovely 'as is' conditon and has not been used over the last 22 years. It has the ripened beauty of a great star like Catherine Deneuve. So hard to attain, so easy to loose. 


This fine Facel Vega HK 500 will be presented by Christoph Grohe at his stand in Hall 6 at the 2016 Techno Classica in Essen, Germany.
