Creepy carriages

Hearses make some of the more morbid vehicles on our roads with some of them outright creepy. But things get really disturbing when a hearse is after the lovely Trish van Devere. A bit like good old Christine was after anyone who threatened its restorer. Don’t worry too much – these things only happen in Hollywood, notably on days like these – it’s Friday the thirteenth after all.

The hearse in question is said to be a 1951 Packard, coachbuilt by Henney of Illinois, which did more then hearses alone. The 1980 movie ‘The Hearse’ offers not too much more than the obvious village with haunted house, some witchcraft, a vicar and plenty of screeching violins to enhance that eerie atmosphere. And that black carriage, of course. Be carefull out there.
