Sleeping beauty in the Morvan. Can you date it?

Frits Bovenberg sent us this 'sympa' French countryside scene:
"I spotted this nice looking car in the front yard of an French farm in the region Morvan, France. I presume it's an old example. It's complete with an chassis, original engine, gearbox, axles, windows, etc. The son of the farmer got killed in an accident probably 20 years ago, with this car, that's what the story is told in the neighbourhood. I think it's a pity that such car has become a sleeping beauty in the French fields. My idea. Maybe we can start an 'international rescue- en restoration team'  to kiss this beauty awake?

editor: great initiative Frits. Maybe we can start to give the correct year to this early bonnet beauty suffering from an extreme form of exotropia. Real 2CV experts out there will for sure point out the details to look for.
