Already we reported about the 125 year Panhard & Levassor celebrations. And its no more than logical to look back to the very beginning. What a mistake! The very first classic your editor ever owned was a 1960 PL17, exactly like the one pictured below in mint green. There is far too little attention for the products of the postwar years which eventually lead to the end under the regime of Citroën in 1967. All what was left is the strong influences of the Panhard 24 BT and CT on - arguably - the best car facelift ever: the DS with covered headlights. Pictured above: the sporty Dyna Junior which nowadays seems less rare than it ever was. Check for instance the pages of Chris McPheat. We just wonder if anybody will still remember Panhard 125 years from now...
