'Cars I have forgone' (upd. ex King of Belgium, Alfa 6C 2500 CC Pininfarina)

We all have a few cars glued in our memories. Cars that we didn't buy, but that we should have bought. We hate the day we decided not to buy that car. And due to that we never ever forget that car -or even worse those cars- and keep thinking that or those were the very best options we ever had. Hans Veenenbos sent us one of those cars from his past. A 1947 2500 SS Cabriolet by (....?)  He found the car in 1987 in Belgium. It was owned by a notarian from Geraardsbergen. We think the car is intriguing. We couldn't identify this twin headlight version. Could it be the Convertible sister of this fabulous 2500SS Pininfarina Berlinetta from the house Pininfarina? Or is it a conversion? Do you recognise this bodystyle? Please let us know.
