American tin & German girls

Sorry chaps, this year no pre-war or post-war calendar ladies. We invest all means and energy in PreWarCar-PostWarClassic 4.0. Yep no worries. At around this time of year most car people start selling and/or giving calendars. And among them you can find some pretty weird ones. Subjects that we have seen come by are: Goats in Trees; Hot Guys & Baby Animals; Tattood Librarians of the Ocean State, Underwater Dogs and Zombie Mermaids. We are not making this up. Fortunately for us, there are several calendars related to classic cars available. We quite like the one made by German photographer Carlos Kella, who combines American tin with German girls and puts them together for his yearly ‘Girls & Legendary US Cars’ calendar. Cars range from 1942 Pontiac Streamliner to 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner and girls from burlesque pin-ups to tattood librarians – well, something for everyone after all.
