A British Embassy Mystery (update: mid fifties Humber Super Snipe Mk IV and '51/'52 Oldsmobile)

Daniel Hadad sends this photo which he found while searching for old cars pictures of his city Tangier. This particular picture wasn't taken in Tangier but somewhere in the UK. The car belonged to the British Embassy in Tangier and it was registered T11259 in the city during the international period (1928-1952). As you can see in the picture it has the plates MT (Morocco Tangier) and CD ( Corps Diplomatique). Daniel hopes to find out what car it is. It's not a Ford Zephyr or Consul. Do you have any idea?
