Only a few weeks before we will have the possibility to find our desired parts to finish our project. Yes, it is almost time for “Beaulieu”! The famous Autojumble will take place on September 1 – 2 and we look forward to go there.
One of the things we like about the event is that people don’t show off their beautiful polished car, but the competition is who can take the most stuff with them, sells it all but still comes back home with a trailer full of “new” stuff.
We quite often hear people talking about the main reason why they shouldn’t come: it is because their garage (and all other barns) are full of car parts. Sell stuff you probably don’t need and buy stuff you are sure you don’t need.
But you don’t need to be completely crazy about cars to enjoy Beaulieu. Quite often we tell friends outside the hobby about the event and after that, we see them coming years and enjoying an English summer. Beaulieu is for all! Just a fun weekend with nice people, a good atmosphere and a nice pint of beer (or two). As always, we will have a stand at the show. You can find us in Redfield (R706/707). Please come over for a chat.
At our stand we will have a beautiful Italian post-war classic. The 1964 Autobianchi Stellina: the little sports car before Fiat came with the Spider. And since we are in the UK, we will have lots of Mini parts. Or you can help us with the PreWar Challenge (click here for more information).
See you at Beaulieu.
