Elizabeth Taylor’s Corvette? Pfff...! (Upd. Could be the real deal!)

Just the other day we received this photo of a Chevrolet Corvette (1971?). The story that came with it says it was recently discovered in a barn in Holland. There was also the rumor that at one time the Corvette had been the property of movie star Elizabeth Taylor. Normally we have our doubts with these kind of stories, as any car touched by a celebrity, automatically is worth triple the market value. Yet this story could be 'true' as upon removal of the floor mats a brass plate was found. It has the curious text: This Chevrolet built expressly for Elizabeth Taylor. Is that english? However, instead of proving the Corvette's provenance we still have our doubts, as in our opinion the text on the copper plate should have read "exclusively" instead of "expressly". Quite possible that a clever chap wanted to boost the value of his unsalable Vette, or on the other hand he may have been totally honest and had his information engraved in his own clumsy english. In that case we are curious if anyone can tell us more about Elizabeth Taylor's Corvette(s)? Is this the 'real deal' or just another nice gossip? Whatever the outcome, this one at least matched the color of Elizabeth's eyes.
