Starting in the middle of 1951 finally there was a 6-cylinder model in the Mercedes presentation . It quasi was a type 170 with a modern engine and cautious body-changements ; i.e. integrated headlights . Of course these convertibles of high value were presented in versions A and B . Our 220 convertible B underwent a complete restoration some years..

Paris 1951 Show car. Unused the last 40 years. Untouched condition. Colours of body, leather and material of carpets and hood tissues typically of the fifties.

Elder restoration needing some attention.

Mostly untouched original car, good rust free body, some small dents, brakes completely rebuild, leather hide interior and tyres renewed, engine tired, needs a little bit of care. Ultra rare!
