About tough to crack car puzzle #140 1954/55 Vale Sports

We like to thank jury member Alan Spencer (expert due to his job  'wheels cars for film'  or the other way round?) who came up with this quiz idea.  He liked the answers #2 and #8, but he never has seen the car referred to as Vale Speedster. The answer from George Cassidy is the only that is not only referring tol the car in genral termes. He presumes this is the 1955 model. This based on the surroundings, the fact that the show was in 1954 and finally as the nose tretment is slightly different with another radiator and bumpers compared to the 1952 protoype... Congratulations George !

We leave the word to Alan regarding Quiz 140 :

"The first Vale was created in 1952 by Vale Wright, an ingenious sports car enthusiast in Berkeley, California.  It was one of the pioneer fiberglass cars.  The design of the body was largely copied from the 1947 Cisitalia 202 Nuvolari Spider.  The engine and chassis came from an MG TC.  Despite the light weight and aerodynamics, the claimed top speed of 139 mph was certainly imaginary!  It is unclear how many cars were constructed.

The photo shows a Vale on display at the Pacific International Motor Sports Show, which was held in October 1954 at the Oakland Exposition Building in Oakland, California.  The Thunderbird in the background would have been a brand new car, not available for sale to the public until five days after the show closed.  Incidentally, the show was organized by the Slonakers, who also created the better-known Oakland Roadster Show for hot rods and custom cars. The Vale made its debut in 1952, so the design was two yeaars old when this photo was taken.
Regarding the bonus question:  What is the third car in the photo?  Ace Zynek found the third car depicted in full in another photo but it is not yet identified! "
