Perhaps our quizzes are not as simple as we sometimes think, so we have renamed them ;-) Here's new one to set your teeth into. The rather chic coupé is a prototype as can be seen by the blocks supporting the door sills. It was meant to replace (or at least to become a bigger brother of) a 3-cylinder Teutonic saloon of the 1950s. The styling was done by a famous designer of those days (whose company is still in business). To win the PostWarClassic T-shirt you need to tell us who designed this prototype (click!) and the car it was based on. The steering wheel might give you a clue. There is a ringed emblem on the grille representing a pre-war make, but of course we have taken that out.
