A DB6, a 356 and a '63 Roadster within 2 minutes walking...

An average day in Holland? Last week Friday we enjoyed a lazy afternoon in The Hague and stumbled over a scruffy '63 MGB. That was here at Bankastreet. Well things like that happen every day over here. Just around the corner we ran into a perfect Porsche 356. And 50 yards further a DB6 in concours condition. Mind you, here was no event, just a well to do neighbourhood. No concours, no rally, no major carclub. Just a few random parked cars parked in the open street within a 1/4 mile walking. As if 'they' knew that we were going to pass. You may wonder about the last car. A camper from FK Ford Köln. To be honest, this was not Friday but yesterday during lunch 200 yards from the PWC offices. Believe it or not, no real need to visit a carmuseum in Holland ( the 'Glas Carriage'which was rencently on display in a museum was yesterday to be seen outside where it belongs(video), complete with King & Queen). It's all there, in the streets and on the roads. And still there are lots of car museums as well. Over 30 museum., not counting the open air museum described above.
