A Bimmer 'bombshell' from Connecticut

We’ve told you before: when the almighty motor industry has no direct news to bring they will simply create some themselves. And the Miss contest is a proven method to do so. Remember Miss Infra-red paint job 1951? So how about Miss BMW Connecticut? Unfortunately we have not been able to dish out more details about this seemingly exiting competition other then it supposedly harks back to 1955. We believe it may have been slightly later, but that’s fine. What’s more: BMW has a good reason to do it all over again for 2016 – the year they will celebrate their centenary. First to come up with a display with BMW’s 100th anniversary as a theme are the organisers of InterClassics Maastricht, the classic car fair in The Netherlands, which BMW happens to sponsor, too. Ah well, life is a feast – you just need to hang the garlands yourself.
