She's a beautiful sculpture. Never have i had so many adoring comments as when driving this vehicle. An utter pleasure to have cared deeply for, its time for her new owner to step in. Be quick and caring. Located in the UK at present.
•Only 4 Black, C1 53-55 Corvettes, were ever manufactured- this car was White but restored as Black- maybe it’s the 5th! Oldest C1 Corvette in the UK and the only Black one in Europe.
•The world’s first fibre-glass bodied car, this VIN E54S002540 was manufactured May ’54 in St Louis, Missouri, one of 3640 that yr and 4600 overall.
•High CR 235CuIn, 150Hp Blue Flame Engine, 2 Speed Powerglide Transmission, this Corvette benefitted from a US full body off restoration 20+yrs ago, then stored as museum piece.
•I imported her in 2018, then reconditioned for regular road use.
•All fully serviced inc. new brake Cylinders, 3 brand new Carter YH Carbs, Fuel pump, pipework and tank.
