What have we just added to our collection? It's a beautiful 1955 Oldsmobile 88 Mille Miglia.
This Oldsmobile participated in the Mille Miglia in 2015, 2024, and 2025.
This is the world's most prestigious rally, where the most exceptional cars are selected. Naturally, this car is fully certified.
Registration fees for 2026 have been paid!
Due to its rarity and unique color scheme, the Oldsmobile was immediately entered—a unique occurrence, as approval for participation usually takes years—and the car was then prepared for the event. New tires, brakes, and shock absorbers were installed, the radiator was overhauled, the water pump replaced, additional fans were installed, and the cooling system was overhauled. Furthermore, the carburetor was overhauled, the windshield wiper motor replaced, the lighting was made reliable, and, of course, a major service was performed.
In addition, an arsenal of spare parts was purchased that might prove useful along the way. To ensure nothing was left to chance, the car was driven for many kilometers in the Netherlands to detect any potential problems. The Mille Miglia was completed without any problems, except for a flat tire and an empty tank.
