1948 International Woodie surviving in India

While it is mostly british cars that dominated the roads of Indis, there are also a few american made products that survived over the decades. This fine but well used 1948 International is a fine example of a new website with an ambitious goal. 

Supriya Chawla reports: The 39th Salon Rétromobile Paris was host to a very special show on the magnificent motor cars of the Maharajas, and osianama.com took the opportunity to showcase its website that will, over the next few months, will do an attempt to put on record all classic and vintage automobiles existant in India, plus all classic and vintage automobiles that were ever known to be in India. 

We will follow the inititiative with great interest! So far close to five hundred autmobiles have been catalogued. We have the impression there is still a awful lot to be discovered in this great country with countless unexplored and sometimes secret collections, workshops and... barns.
