This week is all about the Mille Miglia! Tomorrow at 13:30 (Italian time), the first cars will depart from the Viale Venezia in Brescia. The start of the 39th historical re-enactment of the race will be live-streamed.
This year the route will lead the participants in the opposite direction to previous editions. This means that the 1000 Miglia will be driven counter-clockwise - the route map.

Today, we also look back on The 2020 Mille Miglia with a face mask, which was a slightly different event due to the pandemic and took place in October. There were no stops and stages in the many city centres through which the rally passed. And because it was October, the days were much shorter and ... the nights were cold and dark. The PostWarClassic.com and PreWarCar.com team was there to report on the event and tell you about our experience. You can read here about day 1, day 2. day 3 and day 4, and view the shots we took.
Looking at the photos, we really hope that this year there will be more people at the side of the road to witness the spectacle. Are you going as a spectator? Or are you participating in the event? Send your photos, stories, anecdotes and experiences in an email to [email protected] or in a comment below and share them with other classic car enthusiasts around the world.
